About

Mutt Matchers & Friends is hosting a 5K event to benefit our adoption center and our new Stop Pet Overpopulation Together program. SPOT provides free spay and neuter services to the dogs of qualified residents in the greater Kingman, AZ area.

MM&F's Howl-O-Ween 5K will take place Sunday, October 31, 2010. The day will begin with the Muttster Dash at 7:30 am, followed by the human race at 8:00 am.
An awards ceremony and raffle drawing will follow.

All registrants are eligible to win prizes. You or your dog do not have to be present at the time of the drawing to win door prizes but must be present to be eligible for any awards based on performance in the events. Awards will be given to the top male and top female overall; the top three finishers in each age division; and the top dog in the Muttster Dash. Other awards may be given in addition to those listed.

The race will start and finish at the Mutt Matchers & Friends adoption center, located at 1001 Buchanan, across from Western Arizona Humane Society. Dogs must be leashed at all times and may participate only in the Muttster Dash, not the 5K event. Water will be available for all dogs. Medical personnel will be on site for both human and dog participants.

Registration forms are available at the Mutt Matchers and Friends adoption center at 1001 Buchanan and here. Packet pick-up will be at MM&F Saturday, October 30 from 3 pm to 5 pm. Race day registration is Sunday, October 31 from 6:30 am to 7:30 am.

Age divisions are as follows: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.
